Changing the menu order
The order of the pages in the list is exactly the order in which they appear in your site menu.
Go to Websites → Pages.
Find the six small dots to the left of a page's title.
Click them and hold the mouse button down.
Move the mouse up or down. The row follows your cursor.
Release the button where you want it.
The order is saved automatically — there is no button to click.
Making a sub-page by moving it
By dragging a page slightly to the right under another one, you make it a sub-page. Bringing it back to the left moves it up to the top level.
What cannot be moved
- The home page always stays in first position.
- A parent page takes its sub-pages with it when you move it.
Deleting a page
Go to Websites → Pages.
On the row of the page, click « Delete » (in red, on the far right).
A window asks you to confirm. Read it.
Confirm.
If the page has translations
The confirmation message warns you: Delete this page and its 2 translation(s)?
That means the English version and the versions in the other languages will be deleted together. That is intended: they are versions of the same content.
If the page has sub-pages
First move out the sub-pages you want to keep, up to the top level. Then delete the parent page.
What cannot be deleted
The home page has no « Delete » button. That is normal and intended: your site must always have a home page.
If you want to start over on your home page, simply delete all its blocks one by one, then add new ones.
The photos used by a deleted page
They are not deleted. Your images stay in the media library and you can reuse them on other pages. Only the page disappears.
