The content blocks
The Appointments block
Showing the online booking form on a page of your website.
In this article
The Appointments block shows the booking form on your website. Your visitors pick a consultation type, a date and a time, and send you their request.
It is a slightly unusual block: there is almost nothing to fill in, because all its settings live elsewhere — in the Calendar section.
The two things to do, in order
The block alone is not enough. You need two pieces:
The calendar must be enabled and configured — in Calendar → Calendar settings. See Enabling the calendar.
The block must sit on a page — that is what we do here.
If either step is missing, your visitors will see no form.
Adding the block to a page
Open the page where you want the form: Websites → Pages → « Edit ».
Most often that will be your Contact page, or a dedicated Book an appointment page.
In the left-hand column, click « Appointments ».
The block appears at the bottom of the page.
Title — the heading shown above the form. By default:
Book an appointment. You can change it.Click « Save ».
Click « Publish » if the page was still a draft.
That is all. The block shows a reminder: Appointment types and schedules are configured in Calendar → Settings.
What your visitor sees
They choose an appointment type from the list you defined.
They choose a date among the days you are available.
They choose a time among the free slots.
They fill in their name, e-mail, phone and optionally a message.
They send their request.
They immediately receive an acknowledgement e-mail, and you receive the request in Calendar → Bookings.
If the form does not appear on my site
Check these points in order:
Is the calendar enabled? Go to Calendar → Calendar settings and check that the « Enable calendar » switch is green.
Have you defined at least one appointment type? With no consultation type, there is nothing to book.
Have you defined any availability? If every day is set to « Closed », no slot appears.
Is the page published? A block on a draft page is visible to nobody.
Did you save? The reflex that solves half of all problems.
Where to put this block
On a Contact page or a dedicated page: yes. On your home page it is possible, but put it near the bottom — a visitor who has just arrived does not know your work yet and is not ready to book.
