The content blocks

The Testimonials block

Showing what your patients say, with their name, their role and their photo.

In this article

The Testimonials block shows quotes from your patients. It is the most convincing content on your whole site: one honest voice is worth more than any sales pitch.

Filling in the block

  1. Open the page in the editor, then click the TESTIMONIALS block.

  2. Title — for instance They trust me or What my patients say.

  3. Subtitle — optional.

  4. In the « Testimonials » section, add each voice.

  5. Click « Save ».

Adding a testimonial

  1. Click « + Add ».

  2. Fill in:

    - Quote — the text of the testimonial, as the person put it.

    - Name — the person's name (see below on privacy).

    - Role / Company — something that adds context: Patient since 2023, Lausanne, Family carer.

    - Photo — optional. Click the field to choose an image from the media library.

To remove a testimonial, click « Remove ».

The absolute rule: ask permission

How to ask without making anyone uncomfortable: « Your feedback means a lot to me. Would you be willing for me to publish it on my website? You can choose the name: your first name only, your initials, or anonymously. »

Anonymising properly

If your patient would rather stay discreet, several options work very well:

Name shownRole shown
Marie D.Patient, Lausanne
M. R.Post-operative care
A patientHome care, 2025

A testimonial signed Marie D., patient in Lausanne is more credible than an anonymous one, but an anonymous one is still far better than none.

What makes a good testimonial

What makes a voice convincing is the concrete detail.

  • Very good, I recommend her. — could have been written by anyone.
  • After my knee operation I could not get around at all. She came to my home every other day for six weeks, always on time, always cheerful. I was walking again before the expected date.

The second one tells a story. That is the one that makes someone pick up the phone.

How many testimonials?

Three to six. Three real, detailed testimonials are infinitely more effective than ten stock phrases.
